Mycrocheteds to Whippistry

Hello beautiful peoples..

How are you all.. I know its been very veryyyy long time since I posted.. Mom quarantine Life is keeping me very busy.. Almost an year I have posted something new.. OMG! what am I doing I don't know.. 

And You all can wonder why I suddenly changed my username.. Well its been in my mind till last year itself.. I always wanted to discuss some artistry works and other topics here.. But mycrocheteds name only made me to post crochet related stuffs alone.. And that made me to change..

I don't rely on only one thing always.. My mind will be like, do something new.. Doing same stuff for long time makes my brain gets lazy, LOL..  I always love to keep my brain busy..  And I love to learn and do different innovative works.. 

Why whippistry? What makes me to start whippistry? Am I actually a homebaker? Or do I started baking recently in this lockdown? why, what, how, when..? A lot of questions you may have.. But only one answer is what I am doing now is my passion and time pass since my childhood/teenage days.. 

A lot of people my family and friends who knew me a lot will know from when I was baking.. It all started on dec2011 (I guess) when I finished my college and my dad gifted me an oven when I came out UG first.. When he asked me what gift I want I choose this oven..

During my college days I was inspired by my friends' sister, she bakes yummy cakes.. There's always some magic in her cakes' taste.. Her cakes actually made me to buy an oven and try some cakes.. You can check out her page here..

I can also proudly say that we have some set of friends in my batch who has a passion for baking since our college days.. We used to discuss about ovens, recipes, bake wares, etc.. You must note during those days youtube recipes are not that much available for baking.. I still remember one of my friends gave me some cake recipes written on a paper and I used to bake it on those days.. (Please don't ask me do I have that paper now.. Its been 10 yrs, I don't know where I kept it.. )

As a very little knowledge about ovens and baking and also not availability of otg in my area I bought a convection oven on 2011.. Yes, baking is not good in convection oven (which I knew that after buying) but I bought it as it shows we can do grill, bake, defrost, preheat all in one.. And ofcourse shop person suggests us its the best one so we had no option other than buying it. 

But my first cake in it was a failure.. I tried again, again, again, again, and after almost 3 years on 2014 I get some decent tasteful cake.. Also you can ask me why I didn't buy otg later.. Comeon I bought that covection before 10 years for 10K.. And also in our area we don't get baking essentials.. Only we get cocopowder, baking powder, maida, butter.. We even don't get whipping cream or icing sugar anything..

But with limited supplies I didn't quit.. I bake something or anything often.. I made my oven to understand me or I understood my oven's settings - lol, I don't know.. It made me to bake a perfect cake after 5 years.. Yes after 5 years I baked a perfect cake and it gives some hope..

I even remember the days now how I struggled to use Amul fresh cream to get it frozen and all my beater handles, utensils to keep frozen and whip it with some ice cubes in another bowl below only to attain whipped cream but it only gives soft peaks not firm peaks..

One good thing that happened in this lockdown is that we are getting baking essentials to our area.. Yes alhamdulillah after 10 years.. You wont understand the joy I get when I used whipping cream for first time. The stiff peak it attains gives me more happier and finally after 10 years I felt satisfied of making a complete baking product..

You all wont believe now after getting these baking essentials our hometown has changed to a small home bakers' place.. So many home bakers have grown in these lockdown, some are like me who do for more than 10 years..

I always used to think what happen if I bought otg instead of convection and if I get all baking essentials on 2011 itself.. Because after finished my college days I found myself in doing something which I like the most.. I first tried baking only, without improper source of baking essentials, I choose my path in crochet field as I can buy yarns and hooks easily than baking essentials.. If I get baking essentials on those days itself means I would have started this WHIPPISTRY on that day itself, who knows.. Everything is for a reason and happens for a reason. And Almighty's plans are always best for us..
